Vietnamese National Assembly President Trần Thanh Mẫn, accompanied by his spouse, is set to embark on an official visit to South Korea and Mongolia from September 6 to 11. This high-level delegation visit underscores Vietnam’s commitment to bolstering international relations and fostering closer ties with these two Asian nations.
The itinerary includes meetings and discussions aimed at enhancing parliamentary connections, as President Mẫn will engage with his South Korean and Mongolian counterparts. The invitation for this diplomatic visit was extended by South Korean National Assembly Speaker Cho Jeong-sik and the Chairman of the Mongolian State Great Hural, Sandag Byambatsogt, highlighting the significance of Vietnam’s role in the region.
