INDIANAPOLIS—Carrier is addressing the widespread air quality issues from wildfires in the U.S. and Canada. The company recommends that residential and commercial property owners take steps to improve indoor air quality, including using high-efficiency HVAC filters, sealing buildings, and operating portable air purifiers. These measures combat fine particles in wildfire smoke that can harm health.
“Carrier’s technologies are engineered to mitigate these risks and safeguard indoor air for families and communities,” said Nick Arch, Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions.
Carrier has a range of advanced filtration systems and portable air purifiers, and recently donated over $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to frontline workers and schools in Los Angeles.
