In a deal that will reverberate throughout the entertainment world, Netflix has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery for $82.7 billion. Under the agreed structure, Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders will receive $27.75 per share, establishing total equity value at approximately $72.0 billion. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos highlighted the complementary strengths that each company brings to the merger.
